Middle TN iris society  meets at-ELLINGTON AGRICULTURE CENTER

All weddings held at the Ellington Center are conducted in the Iris Garden’s Gazebo. Arrangements for weddings should be made with Ginny Russell of MTIS 

6:00 p.m. at (615) 883-4338

                           The garden is not open until the  end of April & closes !st week in OCT.

***The garden will not be available for Weddings the 1st and 2nd weekend in May 2016***

***Advance notice is needed for reservation of the Garden because it's popular .

The Gazebo and iris garden are maintained by the M.T.I.S. volunteers, the irises are at their best in April, May and June.


In 2000, the iris garden was recognized by the Governor as an offical Tennessee Bicentennial Iris Garden.

There is a yearly  Iris Sale is held at the Ed Jones Auditorium at the Ellington Agriculture Center. Iris will be available that have been donated by the MTIS members, come early for best selection.


Membership information will be available at the Sale.

 The MTIS  membership  has donated  & planted Irises on the State Capital grounds.
